Cancellation Policy

If your trip is cancelled due to bad weather, then you will be given the opportunity to either receive a refund of your deposit or reschedule your trip and roll over your deposit.  This decision can only be made by the captain of your trip.  Weather conditions such as rain are not a cause to cancel a trip.  Cancellations are extremely rare with no more than 3-5 days per season being cancelled due to bad weather.  On the other hand, if you choose to cancel your trip due to personal, work, financial or other issues including all Covid-19 complications (Except on our end) the deposit will be kept and the remaining additional funds are owed to Treble Maker Fishing Charters.  Depending on the situation, we will do our very best to work with you.

When it comes to cancellations it is important to provide us as much notice as you possible can.  Communication is key.  Our demand is extremely high so as long as we have enough time to move dates it is not too difficult.  We want to work with you as we understand things come up and do happen.

If you cancel with more than 21 days' notice you will have the choice to either have your deposit refunded or transfer to another date.  If you cancel within the 21 days, you are eligible for a refund up to 50% of your deposit depending on ability to reschedule that date.  The other 50% of your deposit will be forfeit and will be used to cover the time needed to hopefully find a replacement client.  If you cancel within one week of your first scheduled day you are responsible for the full cost of the trip.  If we are able to rebook the trip at full price, we will refund half of your deposit as well as any additional funds you have put towards your trip.

Please keep in mind that each circumstance will be treated on an individual basis depending on the circumstances.  Remember that fishing is not a hobby for us, it is also our occupation.  Treble Maker appreciates each and every one of you, we couldn't do what we do without you.  Please communicate early and often as together we can work it out.
